These terms apply to valhallafencingclub.com and to the Valhalla Fencing Club member app. By using them, you agree to these terms. Your membership itself is also covered by the club’s membership agreement, waiver and code of conduct, which you sign in the app.
Accounts
- Each adult has their own login and is responsible for keeping it private.
- A parent or guardian manages each child’s account, books for the child, and signs for the child.
- Please keep your details (email, phone, address, medical information) up to date.
Bookings, cancellations and payments
- Bookings, cancellations, rescheduling and payments follow the club’s rules as shown in the app at the time you book, including cancellation windows and notice periods for plans.
- Amounts shown in the app as owed are due to the club. Card payments, when offered, are processed by Stripe.
- The club may pause bookings for an account, for example while an amount is overdue.
Conduct and safety
- Members and visitors follow the club’s code of conduct and the coaches’ instructions.
- Fencing is a contact sport with a risk of injury. The club’s waiver, signed in the app, explains this.
Text messages
Valhalla Fencing Club sends text messages about bookings, lesson and class reminders, schedule changes, gear due dates and club notices to members who agree to receive them. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving messages; reply START to receive them again; reply HELP for help, or contact us at (833) 825-5973 or info@valhallafencingclub.com. We email you about your account: confirmations, reminders, receipts and club notices. You can turn off reminder emails in the app (Profile > Reminders). Messages about payments, documents and safety are always sent.
Our content
The website and app content belongs to the club or its software provider. Please don’t copy it for commercial use.
Changes and availability
We may change these terms, the website or the app. If we change these terms, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. We try to keep the app available, but it may sometimes be down for maintenance.
Limits on liability
The risks of fencing and the limits of the club’s liability are set out in the waiver you sign in the app. As far as the law allows, the club is not responsible for losses caused by the website or app being unavailable or having errors.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute goes to the courts of Warren County, New Jersey.
