It’s summer time and a a great time to try fencing for the first time or try to improve your fencing abilities. Valhalla is running 3 camps this summer with each aimed at a different age and knowledge levels.

We are proud to announce that our Advanced Camp will have a guest instructor for the first time with David Sierra ,a NCAA Division 1 head coach from Wagner College, will be taking the reins.

David’s resume is quite impressive and we believe will bring important insight to fencing during and after high school. You can read more about him HERE

Camps Sessions are as follows

Beginners July 15th – July 19th 9am-12pm Non Members $225.00 Ages 5-13 REGISTER HERE

Summer Camp to introduce your young fencer to Olympic Style Fencing. This Camp will teach basic footwork and fencing thru a series of games, drills, and actually bouting. 

All equipment will be provided.

Fencers need to bring sneakers and water bottle and gym style clothing they can move in. 

Intermediate July 29th -August 2nd Non Members 375.00 Ages 12 and up REGISTER HERE

This Camp will teach advanced footwork and fencing thru a series of games, drills, and actually bouting. 

Preparing for bouts, events, and tournament preparation will also be covered

All equipment will be provided.

Fencers need to bring sneakers and water bottle and gym style clothing they can move in. 

Camp hours will be from 9 am to 3 Monday thru Friday

A lunch break will be provided however lunch is not included and fencers need to provide their own lunch.

Advanced Camp-August 5-9th hosted by NCAA Division 1 Head Coach David Sierra Non Members 500.00 Ages 14Up Register HERE

Valhalla is proud to welcome NCAA Division 1 Coach David Sierra to run our camp this summer. 

David is the head coach of the men’s and women’s teams at Wagner College in Staten Island. David travels worldwide to work fencing camps and will be here for 1 week sharing his knowledge with us.

This will be an advanced camp and basic fencing knowledge is needed.

Preparing for bouts, events, and tournament preparation will also be covered

Basic Armory will be covered as well as equipment failures on strip and how to handle them

All equipment will be provided.

Fencers need to bring sneakers and water bottle and gym style clothing they can move in. 

Camp hours will be from 9 am to 3 Monday thru Friday

A lunch break will be provided however lunch is not included and fencers need to provide their own lunch.
